WE ARE INCREDIBLY EXCITED TO HOST OUR 3RD INTERNATIONAL DAY OF RURAL WOMEN.
Jackie Elliott started the tradition of Rural Women’s Day three years ago and currently organises and hosts this event in Victoria. The day is about recognising and supporting rural and regional women. To bring them together to be involved and feel connected to their communities. Like Jackie, we want to take a small moment out of our lives for International Day of Rural Women, to consider and reflect on the positive and inspiring Women in our community; to celebrate, inspire and encourage, in a period we all need it most.

Sarah Hope
Sarah grew up in Melbourne, where she discovered a passion for writing, art and theatre from an early age. She has since lived most of her life in country Victoria, raising a bustling blended family of six (now adult) children with her husband, Pete. She has an honours degree from the University of Melbourne, and for a number of years was a senior newspaper journalist and advertising copywriter.
As well as writing, she is a practising artist and potter with a mild obsession for beautifully curated interiors, homewares, and rambling gardens.
Sarah’s diverse creative career has seen her become a published author (‘Canvas’ 2018); found creative brands, Hope & Co. and Australian Country House; host luxury accommodation, ‘The Flats’ (formerly Studio 272); and exhibit her artworks in galleries.
With a wealth of industry experience across multiple creative industries, Sarah has unparalleled aptitude for style. Her offerings as a writer, interior decorator, artist, and educator, are a testament to her life-long passion for creativity.
