Kylie Boston Announced as Executive Officer for Women in Business & Regional Development

The Board of Women in Business & Regional Development are excited to announce that Kylie Boston has accepted the position of Executive Officer of our dynamic  and vibrant network. Kylie comes to the network with a wealth of experience and knowledge to drive our valued organisation.

A Councillor for the District Council of Grant, Kylie has over 30 years experience working with Non-for-Profit Organisations, Businesses, Boards and Committees managing projects, events and acting as a company secretary for organisations such as Top Pork, DairySA, the International Red Dairy Breed Federation to name a few.

Kylie will be taking over from Lydia Mules, who has accepted a role with the Limestone Coast Landscape Board. Lydia has been with the network since early 2015 and has been instrumental in driving our operational success and leaves the organisation in a great position to prosper into the future. We look forward to seeing her at our many events over the year. While this is a sad time to see Lydia leave us, we would like to take this opportunity to thank her for the contribution she has made to our network over her time here and wish her every success with her future endeavours.

The Board of Women in Business & Regional Development have certainly hit the ground running in 2021 with a number of projects and events planned to support our vision  to grow the potential of regional women and support them to create powerful legacies. As one of the regions highest profile member-based organisations, Women in Business & Regional Development have supported and developed the capabilities of regional women for over 22 years.

It’s a busy few months for our network as we plan our 2021 Launch which will be held at the Commodore on the Park on Friday the 19th of February and the highly successful International Women’s Day Breakfast which will be held at the Main Corner in Mount Gambier on Friday the 5th of March.

It’s an exciting time for the network as we finalise our Partners for 2021, if you are interested in aligning your business with Women in Business & Regional Development this year and beyond please find a link HERE for more information or contact Kylie direct on 0407 231 547.

As a non-for-profit organisation and in the absence of any current funding or grants, the support from partnership and membership enable us to operate at a sustainable level.

Please join us in welcoming Kylie and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021!
