New Board Members announced for Women in Business & Regional Development

Women in Business & Regional Development are pleased to announced two new interim Board Members to the Board.

Toni Vorenas of Metro Bakery & Café and Ebony Moulden of Bersee Legal were formally accepted to the Board at the Board Meeting on September 9th 2019.

Toni and Ebony are filling vacancies on the board that have arisen from the resignation of both Cathy Lunnay & Caitlin Kennedy. Cathy Lunnay who is leaving the board to dedicate more time to her family and work joined the WiBRD board in October 2016 and has held various positions including that of Chair, Cathy has been instrumental in the development of the new website and of various new systems for the organisation. Caitlin joined the board in October 2018 and has supported the media committee greatly. Caitlin will be taking the time to now focus on her new business Redview Marketing and in her new role at Koonara wines.

At the Board Meeting, Chairman, Jacinta Jones acknowledged Cathy and Caitlin’s involvement in the network over the past two years where they have contributed immensly.  Whilst it is sad to see Boards members of both Caitlin and Cathy’s calibre leave, the appointment of both Toni and Ebony who were both recipients of awards at the WiBRD 2019 Influential Women in Business Awards leaves no doubt about the positive direction of the organisation.

A formal thank you to both Cathy and Caitlin will be conducted at the WiBRD AGM on October the 8th.
