Expressions of Interest Sought for WiBRD Board

Are you a proactive & community minded person passionate about championing regional women as leaders and change-makers?

WiBRD are seeking expressions of interest from interested parties to join our board with one vacancy to be filled. We want you to consider joining our Board and helping us grow the potential of regional women and support them to create powerful legacies.

As a board member you will become an active member of an organisation and group of inspirational board members that play an important role in connecting, advocating and celebrating women, business and regional development in the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria.

Board members have responsibilities for key areas of the organisation including events, training and media, governance, finance and awards. Given the level of responsibilities of the Board, there is a need for the Board to have an appropriate mix of expertise and experience. We are seeking expressions of interest from suitable applicants who have a passion, skills or interests in the following areas;

  • Communicator with a strong community and regional presence
  • Building the leadership capacity of regional women
  • Technology, systems, innovation and growth
  • Corporate Governance
  • Spread of knowledge and/or experience in rural/primary industries

The Women in Business & Regional Development Annual General Meeting will be held on November the 16th 2020 at the Commodore on the Park. Further communications will be sent regarding the AGM closer to the date.
